Tania Llinares à la Chapelle St Melaine – "Love, etc..."
Elandarts.com propose à la chapelle Saint Mélaine, Lanvénégen (56320 Le Faouët) du 20 juillet au 10 Août 2008, une rencontre inédite entre Tania Llinares, artiste peintre contemporaine et la riche statuaire d'une petite Chapelle de Bretagne. L'exposition rassemblera 12 œuvres expressives et figuratives spécialement créées pour cet événement.
Ce dialogue propose un parcours sensible, au cœur de l’une des questions les plus brûlantes de notre temps : l'Amour. En effet, cette chapelle, avec sa grotte de Lourdes et ses statues est un lieu paisible, propice au recueillement et à la contemplation. Mais elle résonne aussi des souvenirs de fêtes et de noces qui s'y sont déroulées, profitant de ce magnifique cadre champêtre.
Cet environnement a constitué une source d'inspiration pour l'artiste : «J'ai pensé réaliser pour la chapelle une série de 12 toiles représentant des gens ordinaires, qui ont un cœur grand comme ça, avec une vraie grâce, qui sont comme auréolés de lumière : des saints et des saintes qui vivent et partagent cette sainteté au quotidien», commente Tania Llinares.
Après 'L'autre' en 2006 (oeuvres d'Elisabeth Braure et de Nathalie Latham), et 'Anamnèse' en 2007 (Eric Vassal), Elandarts.com réalise pour la 3ème année consécutive une exposition à thème en présentant un artiste d'envergure internationale. Cette opération constitue une occasion unique d'établir un trait d'union entre ce magnifique coin de Bretagne et l'Art Contemporain.
L'artiste :
Tania Llinares est une artiste peintre 'zoographe', qui écrit le vivant, et qui place l'Amour au centre de sa recherche esthétique. Depuis 1990, elle a exposé en Europe à Berlin, Nice, Kassel et Paris et a publié en 2007 un ouvrage «Out of frame» (Editions de la Galerie Anne Lettrée). Elle figure au catalogue d’Elandarts depuis octobre 2007.

An unprecedented meeting between Tania Llinares, contemporary painter and the rich statuary of a small Chapel of Brittany: this is what Elandarts.com has prepared for you in Saint Mélaine Chapel, in Lanvénégen (56320 Le Faouët) from July 20th untill August 10th, 2008. The exhibition brings together 12 expressive and figurative works created specially for this event.
The dialogue provides a sensible route to the heart of one of the most burning issues of our time: Love. Indeed, this chapel, with its grotto of Lourdes and its statues is a peaceful place, conducive to meditation and contemplation. But it also resonates memories of festivals and weddings that have taken place, taking advantage of this magnificent setting.
This environment has been a source of inspiration for the artist: "I have made a serie of 12 paintings representing ordinary people who have a heart "big like that", with a real grace, enlightened: saints and holy living who share this holiness in everyday life, "says Tania Llinares.
After 'The other' in 2006 (works of Elisabeth Braure and Nathalie Latham), and 'Memory' in 2007 (Eric Vassal), Elandarts.com realized for the 3rd consecutive year an exhibition presenting an artist of international fame. This operation also represents a remarkable opportunity to establish a link between this beautiful corner of Brittany and Contemporary Art.
