Shirley Jaffe ( 1923, New Jersey ).

American born but living in Paris from 1949, Shirley Jaffe is an abstract painter whose work typically has bold colored concentric designs in unusual compositions.

In the summer of 1999, she completed a set of stained-glass windows of her design for the 14th-century chapel of the Perpignan Cathedral, which has been restored by that city.
