Olivier Strebelle ( 1927, Brussels )
Belgian sculptor associated with the cobra movement.
In 1943, Olivier Stebelle entered the École Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture et des Arts Décoratifs de « La Cambre » (Brussels) to study ceramics and sculpture.
In 1949, with Alechinsky, Reinhoud, Dotremont and Olyff, he founded the Ateliers du Marais in Brussels.
In 1953, he became a teacher and lecturer career for numerous academies and universities ( in Anvers; in Vancouver, in 1968 at the Iowa University, United States, in 1977 at the Colorado University, Boulder, and at the Atlanta and Philadelphia Universities ... ).
