Aujourd'hui la mer, ha, la mer !
En fait le fleuve qu'il faut traverser en bateau : des allers-retours, une foule de passagers à chaque fois mais rien ne semble vraiment bouger.
Sur le trottoir les même vendeurs, les même objets.
La nuit tombe vite, un étrange Luna-park rassemble de petits restaurants-cabanes. C'est bon.
Des femmes nous regardent droit dans les yeux... Elles disparaissent dans l'ombre.
Il fait légèrement plus frais ce soir. "

"A bit cloudy", as Pierre Bonnard, the painter, did put it in his notebook... in the middle of the first World War. What is the reality that we may describe without modifying the real questions ?Today, the sea - ah, the sea!
Indeed, the river that you need to cross in a boat: some two-ways passages, a crowd of passengers each time but nothing finally really moves.
On the sidewalk, the same sellers, the same objects.
Night falls rapidly and a strange Luna Park gathers some little hut-restaurants. It's good.
Women look straight in the eyes... They disappear in the shade. It is slightly chiller this evening."
