En hiver, lorsqu'elle s'étend uniformément sur les champs et les montagnes, la neige offre une couverture monochrome au paysage. Aucune autre matière n'offre ce phénomène, qui à chaque fois remet en perspective les immenses tentatives d'emballage de Christo, soudainement ramenées à une minuscule mais humaine proportion...
Et ce petit miracle de la nature contribue sans aucun doute à faire du blanc la couleur de la pureté, par extension, de l'innocence et de la lumière... Ce symbolisme semble transcender le temps et les cultures, naturellement...
Bien sûr, il y a l'Asie où le blanc est la couleur du deuil. En effet, le défunt semble se transformer en un corps de lumière, un corps glorieux; il s'élève vers l'innocence et l'immaculé.

And this little miracle of nature undoubtedly contributes to connect the white color with purity, and by extension, of innocence and light ... This symbolism seems to transcend time and cultures, naturally...
Still, there is Asia, where white is the color of mourning. Indeed, the deceased appears to be transformed into a body of light, gloriously - it rises towards the innocent and immaculate.
