Born in 1919 in Pabianice (Lodz) in Poland. He died in October 2001.
Abram Krol arrived in France at the age of 19. He entered the Fine Art school of Avignon during the Second World War. Then he became labor turner in Paris in 1944, while painting the evening ; his first exhibition took place in 1946 in the Gallery Katia Granoff, Paris.
He discovered the various techniques of the print, the wood and the burin in particular. Illustrator, he drew his inspiration from biblical or literary texts and from animal kingdom.
